Overview
Dr. Rajeev Sood brings over 30 years of expertise in Urology, with more than 23 years dedicated to serving the Armed Forces. A recipient of the prestigious Vishisht Sewa Medal, he is recognized for performing the first Cadaver Renal Transplant and the first Laparoscopic Live Donor Nephrectomy within the Armed Forces.
In 1999, Dr. Sood pioneered the HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) technique and went on to introduce the High Energy Green Light Laser Prostatectomy program in India in 2003. As a renal transplant surgeon, he has successfully carried out over 3,000 renal transplants.
