He has extensive experience, having served in the Armed Forces of India for 30 years and held positions such as Associate Professor at Armed Forces Medical College, Professor at Army College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, and Professor and Head at Army Hospital (Research and Referral) in Delhi.
Dr. Ramalingam is a life member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India and a founder member of the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology.
He is also a life member of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India and has served as the President of the Laryngology and Voice Association.
