Dr. Ashutosh Marwah

Dr. Ashutosh Marwah is a highly qualified Pediatric Cardiologist with extensive experience in the field.
He completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, and MD (Pediatrics) from the same institution.
Dr. Marwah pursued advanced fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology from Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, and the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
With over 20 years of clinical work experience in Pediatric Cardiology, he has worked with renowned hospitals, including Delhi Heart and Lung Institute, Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, and Jaypee Hospital.
Before joining Fortis Escorts, he served as a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Cardiology at Apollo Indraprastha Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr. Ashutosh specializes in cardiac interventions for newborns, interventional closure of cardiac defects (ASD, VSD, PDA), coarct balloon dilatation and stenting, stent implantation in pulmonary arteries, perioperative cardiac interventions for complex cardiac lesions, and echo imaging in complex cardiac abnormalities, including fetal echocardiography.
He has achieved significant milestones, including more than 1000 diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and over 700 interventional cardiac catheterizations.
Dr. Marwah is well-versed in non-invasive imaging of complex congenital heart defects and neonatal interventions, such as balloon atrial septostomy and dilatation of critical aortic and pulmonary stenosis.
He holds life memberships in IAP (Independent Practice Associations), PCSI (Pediatric Cardiac Society of India), and Lions Club of Dar Es Salaam – Tanzania, Africa.
