Dr. Raghuram Mallaiah is a distinguished Neonatologist with extensive experience and expertise in neonatal care. He is the Director of Neonatology at Fortis La Femme Hospital, New Delhi, and the founder of Amaara Human Milk Bank in New Delhi and Bangalore. Dr. Mallaiah graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 1994 and completed his postgraduate training in Pediatrics and super-specialty training in Neonatology in the United Kingdom from 1994 to 2004. He is a Fellow in Neonatology at The Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College London, and earned his MRCP(UK) in Pediatrics in 1999.

Upon returning to India in 2004, Dr. Mallaiah established a state-of-the-art tertiary neonatal center at Fortis La Femme, New Delhi, which specializes in obstetric and neonatal care. This facility was the first of its kind in India. He has presented at numerous prestigious national and international conferences, including the Neonatal Society of England, Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology-London, and AICOG-Delhi. Dr. Mallaiah is also the founder of the Breast Milk Foundation, a not-for-profit organization specializing in human milk banking, with the first milk banks established in Delhi and Bangalore.
