Dr. Suvrat Arya

Dr. Suvrat Arya is a renowned rheumatologist with over a decade of experience in the field.
He is associated with Jaypee Hospital, India, and is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Rheumatology.
He holds an MBBS degree from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) in Delhi and was awarded a gold medal.
He completed his MD in Internal Medicine from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak and his DM in Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow, where he received another gold medal.
Dr. Arya’s expertise extends to various areas of rheumatology including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), ankylosing spondylitis, sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, gout, fibromyalgia, and vasculitis, among others.
He is trained in performing various procedures such as joint injections, joint aspirations, biopsies, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
He was awarded the Prof. R.K. Sharma Award for the Best DM resident (Gold Medal) in 2019 and the Prof. S.S Agarwal award for excellence in research in 2018.
He has also received the Indo-UK Travelling Fellowship in 2019 and numerous awards for his research and clinical work.
Dr. Arya is an active member of the Indian Rheumatology Association and the Indian Medical Association.
